Where to Find Job Listings

Searching for Jobs…

Below are places specifically aimed at live entertainment job seekers, be they performers, technicians, designers, stage managers, or whomever on stage or off. It is worth it to note, however, that other job posting sites and social media sites are worth looking at as well. Some suggestions (besides just searching “theatre jobs” on your favorite search engine) are LinkedIn (also good for networking), Glassdoor, Monster, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, SimplyHired, and LinkUp. These are not the limit, so search.

Actors, Dancers, Singers, Models, Television, Film, and Stage

This is more of a casting service aimed at television and film, but with some live gigs. Part of Breakdown Services, Ltd. and Showfax, Inc.

Actors

Since the Western North Carolina Theatre League has put their Unified Auditions on hiatus, they are pointing people to this Facebook page. It has notices for casting and auditions of all kinds, live and recorded, in Western North Carolina.

Actors, Dancers, Singers, Television, Film, and Stage

Broadway World is more of an online periodical. The link to the site is the general page, with jobs listed under the Jobs drop down menu (Equity, Non-Equity, and Find a Job). Each category is separate, and the “Find a Job” link applies to creative and administrative fields. The “Find a Job” page is the classifieds, so classes and instruction may be found there as well.
