Update and Politics

One or two theatres have been updated. They’ll be in the list or they have been removed from the list.

A note on politics. In the US, it’s a very trying time right now. As has been mentioned in another post, the author of this website no longer works in the live entertainment industry He works for the Federal government. For reasons that will become clear, which agency or what he does will not be disclosed, and it isn’t important for this website.

What is important is that we stand by our morals, our beliefs, and the arts. To this, the author applauds the American College Theatre Festival in its decision to separate itself from the Kennedy Center. Adding the Tangerine Tyrant’s name to the center was beyond inappropriate - in fact, there are no polite words in regard to the desecration of that once-great bastion of the arts. Performers who have pulled out of performances there have done the right thing. If the ballot will not be respected, vote with your wallet and your custom. Vote with your voice and your patronage. And come every opportunity, cast a ballot and vote.
